Per his wishes, cremation has been accorded with a private celebration of life to be held. Memorials in Carl's name may be directed to a charity of your choice. Dennison Funeral Home, Viola is assisting the family.
Carl was born December 22, 1947 in Moline, Illinois the son of Henry A. and Bernice M. Lemon Krahl. He graduated from Sherrard High School. On June 3, 1967 he married Rebecca Keating, they later divorced. Carl owned and operated Casco Design Management, which started as a construction company then later focused on trucking. Carl served as a Corporal in the United States Marie Corps Reserve.
His daily calls to his children were a testament to his unwavering love and dedication to family, ensuring that his bond with them remained unbreakable.
Carl was adventurous, he enjoyed boating, traveling, and riding his Harley. Since retirement, he could be found every morning at the Welcome Inn eating breakfast with friends.
Carl will be deeply missed by family, friends, and anyone whose life was touched by his boundless spirit. Though he has embarked on his final journey, his legacy will continue to inspire and remind us to live life to the fullest, without apologies.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: John Krahl, Julie (Dave) Pelloux, and Jenny (Donovan) DiLorenzo; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; siblings: Peggy Edwards, Ron Krahl, and Doug (Tresa) Krahl; and a special friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant twins Shane and Shawn, brother: Rod Krahl, and son-in-law: Joe Zimmerman.
