Douglas T. Billings
November 6, 1964 - September 16, 2023
Douglas T. Billings, 58, of Carbon Cliff passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at his home.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Schroder Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
Douglas was born November 6, 1964 in Moline, IL the son of Gordon and Barbara Engholm Billings. He married Cris Arduser March 2, 2022 in Rock Island. Douglas worked in construction and enjoyed traveling, driving his Corvette, Chicago and Illinois sports, going to concerts, local stock car racing, NASCAR, going on Blue's Cruises, spending time in Florida and the summers in his flip flops.
Survivors include his father, Gordon; wife, Cris; children, Joshua Billings and Maegen Billings; step-daughters, Megan and Samantha; grandchildren, Jaxson and Jaida and a sister, Kris Mueting.
Douglas was preceded in death by his mother.
The family would like to thank Promedica Hospice for the care given to Douglas and the family.
