Glen Junker Obituary
March 17, 1941 - October 5, 2024
Glen E. Junker, 83, of Moline, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, at his home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at Homewood Evangelical Free Church, Moline with visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be Homewood Evangelical Free Church, Moline.
Glen was born March 17, 1941, in Rock Island, the son of Arthur and Virginia (Peebles) Junker. He married Ruth A. Allyn on June 17, 1972 in Eldridge, Iowa.
Glen was a 1959 Rock Island High School graduate. He retired from Dorn Transfer, Rock Island.
Glen was a member of Homewood Evangelical Free Church, Moline and Gilda's Club. He enjoyed motorcycle riding and weather watching.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; step-sons, Thomas (Teresa) McDonnell, Sheridan, Ind. and Eric McDonnell, Boca Raton, Fla. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Junker; sister, Sandra White; and brothers-in-law, Don (Becky) Coobs and Reece Klink.
