SILIVS-Funeral services for Jacqueline "Jackie" Boudreau, 88, of Silvis, IL, will be 12:30pm Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3:00pm. Mrs Boudreau passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, at her home, surrounded by family.
Jackie "the candy lady" was born May 1, 1934, in St. Patrick, MO, the daughter of Paul and Margaret (Smet) Logsdon. She married Bernard "Bud" Boudreau July 18, 1953, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline. He passed away April 12, 2007. She spent nearly half her life helping at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church as the church secretary and anything else that needed to be done. She was a giving woman who cherished her family. She was an Illini Auxiliary Volunteer.
Survivors include her children, Paul (Lisa) Boudreau, IL, Lori (Mike) Teel, New Windsor, IL, and Mary (Mike) McDanel, Colona, IL; grandchildren, Evan Teel, Derek Teel (Jazmine Loving), Haley Teel, EM Teel (Kayla James), and Shayla McDanel (Ryan Clark); great grandchildren, Rylan, Hattie, Silas, and Autumn.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jerry Boudreau; and brother, Robert Lodsdon.
Memorials may be made to the family.
