Jeffrey W. Cone, 69, of Dodgeville, WI, formerly of Colona passed away September 8, 2022 at Agrace Hospice in Janesville, WI.

Visitation will be 10:30-11:30am Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Schroder Mortuary, Colona followed by a graveside service at 12 noon at Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Iowa County, WI Humane Society as an expression of sympathy.

Jeffrey was born September 12, 1952 in Alexandria, MN the son of Wayne and Shirley A. (O'Hara) Cone. He graduated from St. Ambrose University, Davenport in 1974 with a bachelor's degree. Jeffrey worked for over 30 years as a commercial insurance underwriter. He loved baseball and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He also very much enjoyed fishing and shooting pool. Jeff also loved dogs and was a regular volunteer at the Iowa County, WI Humane Society.

Survivors include his sons Brian Cone and Timothy Cone.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents.
