Kenneth "Kenny" Ralph Clifton

COAL VALLEY-Kenneth "Kenny" Ralph Clifton, 64, of Coal Valley, IL, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Promedica Nursing Home in Moline.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, February 11, 2022, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Orion. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Western Township Cemetery in Orion.
Kenny was born on May 24, 1957, in Moline, the son of Ralph and Bertha LaVerne Clifton. He married Cheryl A. DeBaillie on June 18, 1988, in Bettendorf. He worked as a machinist, helping develop new combines, at the John Deere Product Development Center, Department 808, in Silvis, where he was awarded several patents. This work took him all over the world and he retired in October of 2021. He also worked on the family farm. Kenny was a member of the NRA and enjoyed NASCAR and restoring old cars and machinery.
Survivors include his wife; children, Sara (Nic) Romaine of Davenport, Tami (Nate Hatfield) Clifton of Davenport; Tom (Kelly O'Connor) Clifton of Coal Valley; twin sister, Kathy Ferguson of Queen Creek, AZ; and sister, Randi (K.C.) Johnson of Moline
He was preceded in death by his parents.
