Mary Engle Obituary

Mary Ann Engle

January 21, 1943-May 6, 2022

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mary Ann Engle passed away peacefully Friday, May 6, 2022 surrounded by loved ones.

Mary was born January 21, 1943 in Peoria, Illinois to Harley and Edna McFarlan Walker. On January 26, 1976, she married the love of her life, Brian Engle in Aledo.

She was the strongest, hardest working woman you could meet, sacrificing so much for her family. Her love for her family was first, followed by her love of antiques, yard sales, thrift stores and auctions. Mary owned and managed her own shop, "Treasure Hunt Antiques" for many years and worked at The Milan Auction a number of years also.

She will be forever cherished and loved by her husband, Brian; children, Kathy (Jeff), Della (Craig), Patty (Mike); Toni (Todd); and Bill; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.

Mary follows her mother, Edna J. Doss to heaven.

Cremation has been accorded and private family services in the Oakridge Cemetery, Millersburg, IL, will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent to Mercer County Animal Shelter. Fippinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and online condolences can be made at fippingerfuneralhome.com.
