Matilda F. Patrick, age 96, of Rock Island, IL, passed away on October 23, 2023.
Companion of Gene Fowler; sister of Samuel Torres and Carlos E. Torres; aunt of Liza, Nidza, Norma, Carlos A., and Catalina Torres, Jerry Gallagher, Jr., Michelle Harrigan and Michael Gallagher. Matilda was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos and Catalina Torres; siblings: Alicia Snyder, Carlos M. Torres, Jose Alberto Torres, Ernesto Torres, Iris Gallagher, Ruben Torres.
Matilda was a self-employed business women and worked as a manicurist. She enjoyed bowling, going on long walks, visiting with her family and helping others. She was also a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Rock Island.
A Memorial Service for Matilda will be held at 1st Congregational Church of Chicago in November.
