November 19, 1945 - September 15, 2025
Patricia J. Hendrickson, 79, of Rock Island, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at her residence. Services for Pat will be 12 p.m. on Monday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial fund that will be established at a later date.
Pat was born on November 19, 1945, in Moline, the daughter of Clifford Taylor and Adalaide (Hay) Taylor. Pat worked as a 911 Dispatcher and Auxiliary Police Officer for RIPD and later worked for and retired from the East Moline Correctional Center, Illinois Department of Corrections as a Law Librarian. Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, oil painting, horseback riding, scuba diving and wintering in Ariz.
Survivors include her children, Robert Hendrickson, Tucson, Ariz., Steven Hendrickson, Rock Island, and Stefanie Hendrickson, Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren, Bethann, Chris, Megan, Wyatt (Carolina) Hendrickson, Amber Hendrickson, Lyndsi Hendrickson, Riley Hendrickson; great-grandchildren, Sean, "Little Back" Teddy, Nevaeh, and Julius; her caregiver and close family friend DeAnn McIntyre, Rock Island.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jeffrey Hendrickson.

Sad. Always enjoyed talking to her when I worked at that assignment. She was always talking about one of her granddaughters joining some law enforcement agency.
