Carrollton, TX - Philip "Allan" Warrick 75, of Carrollton, TX, died Friday, April 16, 2021, at his home. A Celebration of Life was done on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Freedom Church in Carrollton, TX. Private services will take place at a later date.
Allan was born September 27, 1945 in Moline to Betty and Philip Warrick. He married Mary Thurwanger Warrick on August 21, 1971.
He was a wonderful husband and loving father who will be greatly missed. Allan was a Journeyman pipefitter/electrician and all around jack-of-all trades and master of all of them all. He loved sharing his talents with family by doing plumbing or electrical projects.
He was a devout Christian attending Freedom Church in Carrollton for 36 years. He loved to share his faith.
He loved to play strategic games with every intention of WINNING. He had a sharp mind and was always researching some new interest, even a few weeks prior to his passing.
Survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary Warrick ,Son, Bram (Debra) Warrick of Dublin, CA and Daughter, Erica Warrick, of Carrollton, TX; three grandchildren: David Warrick of San Francisco, CA. Jayden Warrick of Columbia, MO and Devin Warrick of Carrollton, TX., two sisters, Connie Smith, Huntington Beach, CA and Jan (Deneeen) French of Milan, IL.
He was preceded in death by his mother Betty Warrick (McSparin) and father, Philip Hope Warrick.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers , contributions be made to the GOFUNME account. All donations there will go directly to both Celebrate Recovery programs that Allan and Mary have been active in for 6 years: The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, TX or Freedom Church in Carrollton, TX. Charitable contributions can be made directly to either church's website: please mark as a CK contribution.
