Ralph E. Miller, Jr., 75, of Milan, Ill., passed away Saturday, December 20, 2025, at OSF-St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Ill.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 26th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday, prior to services. Memorials may be made to the family in care of his sons, Shawn or Brent, to be designated later.

Ralph was born January 17, 1950 in Chicago, Ill., to Ralph, Sr. and Hope "Joy" (Steinberg) Miller.

He married Ann M. Fell on May 20, 1989 in Davenport, Iowa. She preceded him in death on September 13, 2022.

Ralph was a man of many talents, he was employed with The Rock Island Lines and BNSF railroad for 21 years. He later worked for John Deere Harvester Works and Seeding for 16 years. He also owned a couple Sprint Cellular stores for a time.

Ralph was a proud member of U.A.W., Local 434. He could often be found tinkering in his garage, playing a round of golf, or watching the Chicago Bears play. Additionally he enjoyed, Astronomy and collecting railroad memoribilia.

Surviving are his sons, Shawn Miller, Bettendorf, Iowa, and Brent (Keara) Miller, Eldridge, Iowa; grandchildren, Madison Kirchove, Tiffin, Iowa, Ayla Miller and Jaxyn Miller, both of Eldridge; brother, James D. (Sharen) Miller, Portland, Ore.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John (Tammy) Fell, Davenport, Catherine (Robert) Anderson, Bettendorf, and Mary (Chuck) Crandall, Monmouth, Ill.; and many nieces, nephews, and their families.

Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; parents, Ralph, Sr. and Hope "Joy"; and siblings, Pamela Joy Nelson, Leslie Virginia Davis, William "Bill" Miller; and brother-in-law, Michael Fell.
