I was a good friend of Mimi´s sister Kit. I lived only blocks away from Kit. Mimi and Kits´ mother was no longer alive when I became friends with Kit at Washington Jr High School.
I spent many afternoons in the Dizotel kitchen eating Judge Dizotel´s fried chicken and playing canasta.
I kept in touch with Kit for years. My husband Chuck was also from RI and knew of Dick´s football days at Alleman.
Chuck´s good friend was a classmate of Dick´s from grade school through high school. Tom Santry
Our sympathies with your loss
I would also love to hear of Kit. I know your family helped Kit when Kit was going through hard times in Seattle,
Chuck saw Kit when he was flying for Southwest Airlines when he would have a layover in Seattle.
I would love to get emails so I could connect with you.
Fondly, Sally Temple Scott

Very sorry to hear of Dicks passing. Dick was a cousin of my Mother, Doris Naab Flaherty. His Grandfather was my Mom's Uncle. I did not know Dick, but I did know his sister Kathy. She taught at Alleman while I was there. I once asked Dick if he knew a little about the family tree. Nearly impossible as my Mom had 35 first cousins. I do know some of the puzzle though. Naab's markets were legendary in Rock Isand. Dicks Grandfather as well as my Grandfather and his brothers all ran markets here.
