Sharon K. Wagoner, 77, of Sherrard, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021, at Long Term Care Living Center Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Cambridge, or Swedona Lutheran Church.
Sharon was born on August 23, 1943, in Moline, the daughter of Robert and Katherine (Thatcher) Duncan. She married Bill Romanowski on July 28, 1962, in Orion. He preceded her December 13, 1989. She later married William L. Wagoner on August 4, 1990, in Cambridge, IL. He preceded her December 29, 2014. Sharon was a graphic designer for VICOMM, Moline. Sharon was a member of First Baptist Church, Cambridge where she was also in charge of the Memorial Fund. She attended Swedona Lutheran Church, Lynn Center. Sharon was involved with Crime Stoppers in Mercer County. Sharon was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She also enjoyed her miniature doll house club.
Survivors include her children, Brian (Julie) Romanowski, Mahomet, IL, Teri (Thomas) Malmen, Lynn Center, IL; grandchildren, Tabatha (Andy) Anderson, Moline, Vincent Romanowski, Mahomet, IL, Ryan "Ry" Malmen, Lynn Center; great grandchildren, Ashlyn Anderson & A.J. Anderson; brother, Tom (Randee) Duncan, Bettendorf; sister-in-law, Kathy (Kent) Smith, Inverness, FL; and her furbabies, Misty & Holly were her companions in her later years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husbands.
