Stanley Kaiser Obituary

Stanley Kaiser

September 15, 1939 - February 13, 2025

Stanley Hayden Kaiser passed away on February 13, 2025, in Lenexa, Kansas. Born on September 15, 1939, in Neponset, Illinois, Stanley lived a life dedicated to education and family.

Stanley graduated from high school in Neponset before continuing his education at Western Illinois University, where he earned a degree in teacher education. His career began as a high school teacher in Plymouth, Illinois, where he inspired students with his dedication to learning. After obtaining a Master's in Educational Administration, he later transitioned into administration, serving as an elementary principal at Reynolds and Taylor Ridge elementary schools in the Rockridge school district. Through his leadership and commitment to education, he left a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues until his retirement.

Upon retirement, Stanley and his wife made the Lake of the Ozarks their retirement home. Stanley found joy in many activities where he was an avid golfer, skier, and fisherman who loved the challenge and excitement that these activities brought to his life. A devoted sports enthusiast, he enjoyed following various teams including the Fighting Illini, Chicago Bears, and Kansas Jayhawks. Traveling was another passion that enriched his life with new experiences and cherished memories. His favorite destinations were Breckenridge, Colorado, Fort Meyers, Florida and Branson, Missouri.

Stanley valued time spent with family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughter, Jileane; grandsons, Alexander (Lena) and Brenton; brothers, Alan (Janice) Kaiser of Neponset, Illinois and Randy (Lynette) Kaiser of Neponset, Illinois; and sister, Mary (Russ) Johnson of Rock Island, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hayden and Ina Kaiser.

Stanley's legacy lives on through the many lives he touched as an educator, mentor, friend, and family member. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
