Suzanne M. Aubry, 100, of Bettendorf, formerly of Moline, passed away Saturday August 30, 2025, at Unity Point, Bettendorf.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Thursday, September 4, 2025, at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm Wednesday at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline with a combined Sacred Heart Altar and Rosary Society and the National Catholic Society of Foresters rosary at 3:30 pm. Burial will be held at National Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church or Alleman High School.
Sue was born April 14, 1925, in Moline, the daughter of Joseph and Madelein (Pype) Leemans. She married Albert Aubry on August 9, 1947, at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. He preceded her in death on November 15, 2016.
Sue was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Sacred Heart Altar and Rosary Society, National Catholic Order of Forester's and the Women's American Legion Auxiliary Post 246. She was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Monroe Aubry, Wimberley, TX, Charlotte (Marvin) Sueverkruebbe, Flower Mound, TX, Bonnie (Jim) Horton, Hot Springs Village, AR, Daniel (Kim) Aubry, Moline, William Aubry, Taylor Ridge, Rita Ostrom, Bettendorf and Marcia (Jim) Riggins, Huntersville, NC; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Louise VanHootegen, Alice Raes and Edna Giromini and brothers, Raymond Leemans, Albert Leemans, Eugene Leemans, Daniel Leemans and Arthur Leemans.
