Antonio Juan Chavez age 76, life time Tucumcari, NM resident passed away in Albuquerque on Saturday September 18, 2021.
Antonio was born July 21, 1945, in Tucumcari NM. He was a member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church. He was retired from the City of Tucumcari. He served his country in the US Army
and retired from the New Mexico Army National Guard.
Surviving him is his wife, Maria E. Chavez of Tucumcari; his children, Jon-Anthony Chavez & Teresita and Angelo Chavez & his fiance, Delilah Carabajal; grandchildren, Lynzie and Nathan Mellies, Andrew Ryan Chavez, Ashton Brian Chavez, Gabriella Chavez, Great Grand Harley J Mellies and Haylen E. Mellis.
Rosary will be in the St. Anne's Catholic Church on Friday September 24, 2021, beginning at 9:30AM. Funeral Mass will be in the St. Anne's Catholic Church on Friday, September 24, 2021, beginning at 10:00AM. Pall Bearers will be Richard Lovato, Robert Lovato, Eloy Lovato, Nathan Meillies, Andrew Chavez and Christopher Chavez. Honorary bearers will be Joe Jasper, Raymond Garcia, Lucas Lujan, Ruby Garcia, Albert Chavez, Albert Arias and Anthony Lovato.
