Kenneth Cecil Humphreys "Grandpa Ken", 89, passed away on August 3, 2021, in Clovis, New Mexico. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2021, 11:00AM, at The Chapel, 1500 Thornton, Clovis, New Mexico.
Grandpa Ken was born on October 7, 1931, in Vinson, Oklahoma to Cecil and Alta Humphreys. In 1961, Ken moved to Tucumcari, NM, and became a Safeway manager. In 1977 he opened Ken's Ice Cream. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; Vyanne Humphreys of the home, his daughter; Sherry (Johnny) Bruhn of Tucumcari, NM, his step daughter; Amy (Wesley) Parker, of Clovis, NM, his step son; David (Luisa) Babcock of The Colony, Texas, his sister; Shirley James of Borger, TX, his niece; Elda, his nephews; Del (Pam) Humphreys, and David (Jane) Humphreys, three grandchildren; A.J. Sellers, Amanda Sellers, and Taylon Babcock, and one great grandchild; Jeremiah Favela. He is preceded in death by his parents; Cecil and Alta Humphreys, his first wife; Laura Humphreys, his son; Kenneth Lynn Humphreys, his brother; Doc Humphreys, and his nephews; Noel and Danny.

Sherry, I used to work for Ken and your mom at Ken's Ice Cream. Ken was such a nice person. So sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.
