MOLINE-Anna Lou Goetz (nee Giles), 88, of Moline, passed away Thursday, May 06, 2021 at Bickford of Moline.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at River City Church. Followed by burial at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Moline. Memorials may be made to Calvary Church of the Quad Cities or River City Church.
Anna was born on August 6, 1932 in Dixon, IL the daughter of Harry and Hazel (Stanbrough). She married the love of her life Raymond R Goetz Jr on January 4, 1952 at Moline Gospel Temple. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2010. Anna and Ray were longtime members of Moline Gospel Temple and charter members of Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. She enjoyed sewing and loved God and her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Deanna McClean (Luis Garcia), Mexico, Alanna (Bill) McGovern, Moline, Sandra (Kevin) Wohlford, Eldridge; grandchildren, Bjarne "BJ" (Chelsea) Sorensen Jr, Jerit Wohlford, Kirsten (Constantin) Wohlford; great grandchildren, Lyndon, Avery, and Jaylen; sister, Marilyn (Wendell) Harris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two sisters, Audrey Patterson, and Dorothy Pratt.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Bickford Cottage, Heartland Hospice and Anna's home healthcare workers, Hannah, Rhonda and Kami.
