I just returned from visiting family in Chicago, and learned this sad news about "Mrs. Nixon". She was such a wonderful gardener, and I enjoyed visiting with her on my walks. She invariably asked about my daughter whom she knew at McKinley. What a lovely lady! She will be missed!

Dear Nixon Family ~ I am so sorry for the loss of Cindy. I was out of town and unable to come to the visitation. I worked with Cindy at McKinley Elementary and she was a kind and wonderful person. The students and staff loved her! Prayers of peace and comfort. Sincerely, Rachelle Hodson, Nurse at Mckinley
