April 26, 1969-July 8, 2023
ROCK ISLAND-Frederick Olson, 54, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, at Allure of Moline. Memorial services will be 4:00pm Friday, July 14, 2023, at Church of Peace United Church of Christ, Rock Island, with visitation one-hour prior.
Fred was born April 26, 1969, in Rock Island, to Stuart and Nancy (Coughlin) Olson. He enjoyed rehabbing homes, cooking, and made a great chili.
Surviving are his parents; siblings, Erin Sebben and John Olson; nieces, Hayley and Leigha; nephew, Nicholas; and 7 aunts and uncles.
Fred was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

So very sorry for loss.
I knew Frederick as Fritz.
I met Fritz when I was a bartender at the bar called Madison Square in rock island. He was always a kind man, and had a humor side.
He did some handyman work at my home. Fritz sure was talented at his trade.
Once again, sorry for your loss.
