DAVENPORT-Jacqueline K. Hahn – Wachtel, 61, of Davenport, died Monday, October 17, 2022 at the University of Iowa Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to King's Harvest Pet Rescue or the Stead Family Children's Hospital.
Jacqueline Kay Hahn was born on August 25, 1961 in Davenport, a daughter of Roger and Patty (Randolph) Hahn. She graduated from Davenport Central High School in 1979. Jackie was united in marriage to Francis H. Wachtel on September 27, 2008.
Jackie worked at the Iowa Machine Shed, the Davenport Community School District at Madison Elementary, and most recently at Hy-Vee, 53rd and Utica Ridge location.
Jackie loved her family, her many beloved cats and picking raspberries her husband Francis grew. She was also a proud member of the Sisters in Sobriety.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Francis, son, Caleb (Aaron) Hahn-Clark, parents, Roger and Patty Hahn, all of Davenport and a brother, Roger Hahn, Preemption, Illinois, 3 nieces and special friends Kelly Wafer, Diana Fladelin, Barb DeGraf (El Cortez), Jo Weiss, and her Sisters in Sobriety.
Jackie's family would like to thank Jackie's dear friend, Jo, who provided guidance and care during her illness as well as her visiting nurse, Jayne Boore.
