MOLINE-James K. Sigler, 78, of Moline, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Overlook Village, Moline.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church, Moline, where his live-streamed service can be viewed on Rafferty Funeral Home's Facebook at 10:30 am. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Masks will be required at all services. Burial will be at National Cemetery Rock Island with military honors conducted by the American Legion Post 246, Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Overlook Village, Moline or Heartland Hospice.

Jim was born December 19, 1942 in Keota, IA, the son of George "Verle" and Agnes (Snyder) Sigler. Jim was a US Navy veteran. He married Beverly Strohman on July 17, 1965 in Sigourney, IA.

Jim received his Bachelors Degree from St. Ambrose College. He worked at International Harvester Farmall and Navistar, retiring in 1994 after 30 years of service. He retired from the Moline School District in 2002 after 7 years.

Jim was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Moline and the Friends Circle Club, Moline.

Survivors include his wife, Bev; daughters, Jodie (Ron) Sigler-Blanche, Eldridge and Julie (Chris) Ruff, Moline; grandchildren, Kellie (J.D.), Philip "PJ", Braden, Rebecalyn and Terry; sisters, Wanda (Jon) Ballou, West Branch, IA, Kathy Ewald, Keota, IA, and Mary Jean (Barry) Martin, Callawassie Island, SC; brothers, Carl (Judy) Sigler, Keota, IA, William (Pat) Sigler, Blue Grass, IA and Henry Sigler, Keota, IA. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Annie, Bonnie, Joyce, Carol, Georgia, Cindy and brothers, Harold, Darold, Raymond, Thomas, Donald and Robert.
