John Caldwell Obituary

John Caldwell, of Riverside, CA, passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer. Born in Moline, Illinois, January 4, 1960, he moved to Southern California in 1989 as a single father and built a remarkable life grounded in family, purpose, and service.

John was a pioneer in email marketing, beginning his career in June of 1996 and founding Red Pill Email in 2005. He later co-founded Origin Email, merging the two to form RPE Origin. In 2020, he created Alan's Artisan Soap Co., a mission-driven business providing employment for individuals with special needs.

He also served the yachting community with distinction, as Commodore of Marina Yacht Club of Long Beach (2017), Seal Beach Yacht Club (2019), and the Southern California Yachting Association (2023), as well as EVP of the Long Beach Marina Boat Owners Association.

John is survived by his wife, Tina; sons, John (Leslie), Alan, and Ian; mother, Patty; sister, Jennifer; nieces, Christiana and Shelby; nephew, Patrick; mother-in-law, Peggy Schneider; father-in-law, Bill Schneider (Pam); brother-in-law, Wes Schneider (Nicole), and their children Mia, Allie, and Toby.

He will be remembered for his honesty, generosity, and unwavering dedication to the people and causes he loved.
