Joyce Marie Ullmark
July 27, 1934-June 14, 2023
DAVENPORT-Joyce Marie Ullmark, 88, of Davenport, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Jersey Ridge Place, Davenport.
Visitation will be 10-12pm, Thursday, July 6, 2023 with a Rosary recited at 9:30 am at Rafferty Funeral Home, 2111-1st St A, Moline. Committal services will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Alzheimer's Association.
Joyce was born July 27, 1934 in Moline, the daughter of Rene and Mary (Maere) VanDeCasteele. She married Ray "Bud" Ullmark on October 2, 1954 in Moline. He preceded her in death on May 11, 2011. Together they loved to travel and had 6 wonderful years living in Texas before moving back to the area to care for her sister.
Joyce was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed gardening, shopping, bingo, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Connie Engholm, Moline, Randy (Pam) Ullmark, Cambridge, IL, Brian (Dawn) Ullmark, San Jose, CA, and Beth Ullmark, Davenport; grandchildren, Josh (Staci) Ullmark, Jenni (Mike) Bowser, Ben Ullmark, Sarah Ullmark, and Jon Ullmark; great-grandsons, Mason and Brady Ullmark; step-grandaughters, Tina (Chris) Cason and Annette (Damian) Morris; step-great-grandchildren, Amanda Vincent, Nic Vincent, Ian Pierce, and Paige Morris; step-great-great-grandchildren, Ryder Foster, Braelynn Heinsen, and Bentlee Heinsen; twin sister, Joan Mullikin, Stockton, CA and sister-in-laws, Bev VanDeCasteele and Marian VanDeCasteele. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marian Plavak and brothers, Robert VanDeCasteele, Francis VanDeCasteele, Louis VanDeCasteele, Ray VanDeCasteele, and Ralph VanDeCasteele.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Jersey Ridge Place & St. Croix Hospice for their wonderful care of our beloved mother.
