I knew Karen as a compassionate care giver and entertainer. She helped by aunt as a caregiver, and entertained me in public places and at Ridgecrest. She was a lovely woman. I believe she told me she went to California to sign up for one of the first talent TV shows. She will be missed by many.

She was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. She did a wonderful job raising her children, and she had a truly amazing singing voice.
