PRINCETON-Kenneth D. Storjohann, 75, of Princeton, IA, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. There will be a private family service at Zion Lutheran Church, Princeton, IA., with burial in the National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. Memorials may be made to his church or the Vietnam Veterans #299, Rock Island, IL. Online tributes and condolences may be made at www.therungemortuary.com.

Ken was born a son of Lambert and Dora (Siem) Storjohann on December 22, 1945, in Davenport, IA. He served proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was united in marriage to Deborah Cozad on August 10, 1968, in Davenport.

He was member of Iron Workers Local #111, later working for Bar-M, and retired from Local #111. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the men's fellowship at his church.

Ken was a family man that loved spending quality time with his family. His grandchildren will remember him saying "the key to success is doing anything you love". He had a passion for gardening and loves his dogs and horses. Those who knew him, loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 52 years, Deborah Storjohann; children, Kenneth "Rick" (Shani) Storjohann of Andover, IA, Randal Storjohann of Princeton, IA, and Angela (Josh Platter) Storjohann of Princeton, IA; sister, Mary Ann (Lee) Muller of Walcott, IA; grandchildren, Tanner (Courtney) Storjohann of Fulton, IL, Sage Marie Storjohann of Hillsdale, IL, and Steel Storjohann of Princeton, IA; great-grandchild, Ulric Kenneth Storjohann; sisters-in-law, Connie (late Richard) Storjohann of New Franklin, MO, and Laurie (late Gene) Storjohann of Calamus, IA; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard, Nicholas, and Gene; and sisters, Christina Clark and Ellen JoAnn Storjohann.
