Leonard D. Kall

Leonard D. Kall, age 99, of Bettendorf, passed away Monday, January 27, 2025, at The Vistas at Bettendorf.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, February 3rd, at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at the Rock Island National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Asbury United Methodist Church, the American Legion, or to the Humane Society of Scott County.

He is survived by his children, Bill Kall, Jim (Barb) Kall, and Kathy (Steve) Naber; two grandchildren, Steven (Carrie) Naber and Jennifer (Joe) Balvanz; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Stewart, Steven Naber, Isaac Naber, Grady Balvanz, and Brooks Balvanz; and sister, Nancy Smith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marylou; his companion, Betty Hofreiter; granddaughter, Julie Stewart; daughter-in-law, Brenda Kall; stepsister, Joann Carter; and brothers, Albert, Richard, and George Kall.
