ELDRIDGE-Linda J. Goodwin, 72, of Eldridge, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly in the comfort of her home on Tuesday, April 26, 2022. Per her wishes a Private Graveside Service will be held and she will be laid to rest in Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her name to the Saint Jude Children's Hospital. Linda was born to Clarence and Fern (Stair) Richarz on October 23, 1949 in Independence, Kansas. She was united in marriage to Tom Goodwin on September 13, 1969 in South East Kansas.
Linda was an outgoing and caring woman with a great sense of humor who enjoyed spending time with her family outdoors.
Linda owned and operated her own day care out of her home for many years.
Those honoring her memory and missing her deeply are her loving husband of 52 years, Tom Goodwin; sons, Matt (Dawn) Goodwin, Ankeny, IA, and Mark (Lisa) Goodwin, Walcott, IA; and grandchildren, Adalyn, Jack, Carter, and Lane.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Karen Earhart.
