Margaret L. Penniman, 101, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025, at her home.
A private burial service will take place at the National Cemetery Rock Island where she will be laid to rest with her husband. Please share condolences with the family at www.rungemortuary.com.
Margaret was born November 12, 1923, in Gann Valley, SD, to Herman and Nellie (Stewart) Koch. She was united in marriage to Nathan Howard, they later divorced. She then married Robert Penniman, who preceded her in death. Prior to retirement, Margaret had been a shipping/receiving clerk with the former Venture Store, Davenport. For enjoyment she loved to go dancing and work in her garden.
Margaret is survived by four generations. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, six siblings, and her former husband.
