Mark Kevin Mueller
March 11 1955-September 10, 2022
On Saturday, September 10, 2022, Mark Kevin Mueller, loving husband and father of three, passed away at age 67. Born to Betty and Harold Mueller on March 11th 1955, Mark graduated from West High School in Davenport, Iowa in 1973. He passed away peacefully at home with his wife, daughters, and beloved dogs Bella and Sam.
Mark will be dearly missed by his wife of 40 years, Christine Mueller; children, Dawn (Donnie) Kindhart of Clarksville, Tennessee, Yulon "Lonni" Mueller of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, Lorelei (Michael) Moen of Welton, Iowa; Grandchildren, Michael (Paige) Kindhart, Shea (Jessie) Mueller, Skyla (Joe) Moen, McKenzie Moen, Bryce (Alli) Mueller; Great grandchildren, Avery and Levi; siblings Roxann Snyder, Debra (Daniel) Chard, Jeffrey (Lori) Mueller, Doug Mueller, and Christina Mueller. Mark will also be missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Betty J. Mueller and Harold E. Mueller. He also has had several beloved pets over his life that he deeply cared for.
Mark has always taken great pride in his strong work ethic. Mark started his sales career early in life at the family business, Supreme TV Video and Appliance. He worked many years alongside his father and siblings. He continued throughout his life to achieve many awards and accolades from many companies including Springfield Armory, McLeod, Maintenance Free Minnesota, and Ayars & Ayars. He retired from Ayars & Ayars in 2022.
Mark and Chris were married in 1982 and raised three daughters in Davenport, Iowa. They moved to the Twin Cities area in 1999 and have considered it home for the past 23 years. Mark was fascinated with Sci-Fi and anything relating to NASA and space exploration. He also loved fishing on his boat with his family and making music with many friends throughout the years.
As an avid musician, Mark played bass guitar in several bands in the Quad City and Twin City areas. He will be remembered by all for his music, warmth, laughter, advice and (sometimes inappropriate) sense of humor. There has never been a moment he has not had a joke ready in his back pocket. He would want us to say, "A duck walks into a bar…."

I have the best memories of Mark as we cousins were growing up together in Iowa. From watching him drive the tractor baling hay to hearing "I'm Enery the Eighth I Am" for the first time from his lips, to having him say "You're my favorite cousin!" to each of us at family get-togethers, to his keeping tradition alive with his incredible rendition of Grandpa's German prayer, Mark always bought joy. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Our thoughts are with each of you in his family, and hope that your memories are as sweet as mine.
