Max A. Robertson, 77, of LeClaire, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at his home.

A celebration of his life was held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, by his family.

Max was born October 4, 1948, in Davenport, Iowa, the son of Roy & Letha (Veatch) Robertson.

Max was a graduate of Bettendorf High School and went on to study mechanical engineering at the University of Iowa.

He proudly served his country and was a decorated Captain and pilot in the United States Air Force for his meritorious achievements during his tour in Vietnam.

Max flew for Delta Airlines for twenty-six years from 1978 to 2004. He was actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America and loved conservation and the outdoors. Above all, he will be remembered by his friends and family for his cooking and hospitality.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Christopher (Thais) Robertson of Fresno, Texas and Michael Robertson of Farmers Branch, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Letha and Roy; his sisters, M. Marie and Patsy; and his brothers, Donald L. and R. Wayne.
