I taught Remedial Reading at Southern Boone County Elementary School in Ashland, Missouri, where Meghan taught first grade for 25 years. She was truly dedicated to her students and extremely competent as a teacher, She spread sunshine every day, not only to her students but to staff. My condolences to her family and friends.

Meg was my very best friend for the last 38 years. We went through births, deaths, divorces, & life's challenges, working hard to better our live's by struggling through 4 years of college to get our bachelor's degrees, all the while working a job and raising our kids. Meg wanted so badly to get that teaching degree to teach school, and she did it. She taught first grade in Payson, Illinois, Houston, TX., Green Bay, WI., and Columbia, MO. until she retired a year ago. After retiring she moved to Polk City, IA. to be near her precious grown daughters and grandson, who she cherished and adored. We were in constant contact 2-3 times a week, to check in and discuss our issues, best tv programs, politics, etc. My life has been so blessed to have such a fantastic close friend for so many years, and I will always and forever miss my Meg. Love you Meg.
