Nancy E. Riedesel, 68, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025, in Davenport. A memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Weerts Funeral home, Davenport, Iowa. Online memorials may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com.
Nancy was born on December 17, 1956, the daughter of Patricia and Paul Riedesel Sr. in Davenport. Nancy graduated from West High School in 1975 and attended Waubonsee College in Illinois. Nancy started her career at the Rock Island Arsenal as an office clerk. She later moved to Tampa, Fla. in a position at the VA Hospital. She finished out her career at the VA Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa retiring in 2016.
Nancy was a devout Christian and spent numerous years involved in The Way Ministry.
Nancy is survived by her mother, Patricia Riedesel of Davenport; brother, Daniel (Andrea) Riedesel of Blue Grass; niece, Jamie Riedesel (Kayla Skidmore) Fruitland, IA; nephews Jeremy Riedesel and Tiffany Coss of Bettendorf, Matthew Riedesel of Davenport.
Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Paul Jr. (2023); and sister-in-law, Kimberly L (2016); and father, Paul Sr. (2013).
