Funeral services for Nicholas Andrew Andersen, 32, of Davenport, will be 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m., to service time at the funeral home.

Nicholas passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

Nicholas was born on December 3, 1991, in Davenport, the son of Douglas and MaryJo (Villanueva) Andersen. He attended Pleasant Valley High School. For the last eight years he worked in the food industry including Texas Roadhouse and Ross's. He enjoyed fishing, animals and nature.

Survivors include his grandfather, Servando Villanueva; parents, Douglas and MaryJo Andersen, of Davenport; brother, Lyle (Lindsay) Andersen, of Bettendorf; sisters, DeAun (Brandon) Mayer, of Bettendorf, Krystal (Thomas) Niemczynski, of Larimore, ND; nieces and nephews: Ethan, Olivia, Tucker, Charlie, Rowland, Jason, and Sawyer; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his uncle; and niece, Maria.

Memorials may be directed to The University of Iowa Digestive Health Center or Impact Life Blood Center in Davenport, IA.
