Patricia Eileen Buster, a beloved and cherished member of the Bettendorf, Iowa community, passed away on November 19, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on March 13, 1934, in Muscatine, Iowa, Patricia was the daughter of Sam and Lucy Grossklaus. She graduated from Muscatine High School in 1952 and continued her education at Muscatine Junior College, graduating in 1954.

Throughout her life, Patricia was known for being compassionate, devoted, kind-hearted, gentle, and faithful. She was actively involved in her community, serving as a PTA member, Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, and church group leader. Patricia and her husband, Carl, were charter members of Grace Evangelical Free Church in Davenport, Iowa, where she remained very active. Her professional life included roles as a credit manager at Montgomery Wards and as a dedicated fourth-grade teacher in the Pleasant Valley School District. She was also a devoted homemaker.

Patricia married Carl L. Buster on December 19, 1955, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They shared a loving marriage until Carl's passing in 2010. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her granddaughter during her upbringing, and in recent years, she delighted in playing with her three great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her GG. In her earlier years, Patricia and Carl frequently boated on the Mississippi River and in the Ozarks, and they enjoyed playing golf with friends.

Patricia is survived by her daughter, Christine Leibrandt; her son-in-law, Chuck Leibrandt; her granddaughter, Erin (Leibrandt) Higgins, who is married to Bryan Higgins, and their three wonderful children, Claire (8), Kellan (6), and Austin (3).
