Per her wishes, her body was donated to University of Iowa's Deeded Body Program to aid in the continued education of future medical professionals. On what would have been her 80th birthday, family and friends are welcome to leave their sadness at the door and per her final wish, partake in a traditional Irish wake to enjoy memories and stories of this extraordinary woman. Join in a toast, dance a jig and help give a proper send off as she requested on Dec. 4th at El Cortez, 423 Brady St. in Davenport, IA, between the hours of noon and 4:00 p.m. (or beyond for the truly hearty amongst us).
If you would like to make a donation, one of the many services that received ongoing support from Patricia is the Domestic Violence Intervention Program, dvipiowa.org/donate. Memories and condolences may be expressed on Patricia's obituary page at www.gayandciha.com.
