Ricky J. Carson, 77, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, in Davenport.
A Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, in The Runge Mortuary Chapel with visitation from 12 p.m. until service time at 2 p.m. He will be laid to rest in Pinehill Cemetery, Davenport. Online tributes and condolences may be made at www.therungemortuary.com.
Ricky was born December 16, 1947, in Vincennes, Indiana, a son of Dallas Wallace and his mother Jane (Hale) Wallace.
He served proudly in the United States Army.
He married the love of his life, Marian Kuehl on February 12, 1972, in Davenport and they celebrated 52 years together until her passing, January 23, 2025.
Ricky retired after many years working as a mechanic, and he enjoyed stock car racing with his son Henry and he just loved being at the track.
Those honoring his memory include his children, Dave Carson, Henry (Julie) Carson, Ricky Carson JR., and Kay Wright; grandchildren, Dylan and Austin Carson, Brandon, Roy JR., Tabitha, and Tyler Wright; great-granddaughter, Haizley; and brothers, Ron Hale and Scott Carson.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, parents, and brother, Richard Scott.
