Russ Hoogheem Obituary
May 21, 1957 - September 25, 2025
Russ Hoogheem, 68, of Fulton, Ill., died Thursday, September 25, 2025, as the result of a vehicle accident. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 2, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, October 3, at the funeral home, with Rev. Jim Jenson officiating.
Russ spent his career as a truck driver and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and time with family and friends. Survivors include his father, Kenneth; sons, Nicholas (Makenzie) and Ryan; two grandchildren; sisters, Marcia and Lori; and brothers, Ronald and David.

Russ was a great guy and friend. Hard working but always had time to stop and talk. I worked with him at Standard forwarding for 25 yrs. Great memories. RIP Brother!

I worked with Russ at Standard Forwarding. I remember him as being a good friend always having the time to help others get the work done!! Always enjoyed talking with him!! He often talked of his family whether it be going to his kids games or out on the river!! Rip brother!!! Gone way too soon!!
