DURANT-Sandra Joan Paulsen, age 81, of Durant, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her home in Durant. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2021 at Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the funeral home with a visitation held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., prior to the service. Burial will take place in Durant Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Compassus Hospice or Life Church, Wilton. Online condolences may be left at bentleyfuneralhome.com

Sandi was born at home on April 9, 1940, the daughter of Thomas and Violet (Dittmer) Wolf. She graduated from Davenport High School with the Class of 1958. Sandi was a homemaker who treasured taking care of her family. The greatest love of her life was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sandi liked playing dominoes, cards and participated in various clubs. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening and dancing.

Sandi will be dearly missed by three daughters, Shelley (Doug) Lincoln of Stockton, Iowa, Darcy (Pat) Cowan of Ankeny, Iowa, and Kayla (Jim) Ruter of Shannon, Illinois; one son, Bart (Linda) Paulsen of Stockton, Iowa; fourteen grandchildren, Tad (Marissa) Lincoln, Nate (Kelly) Lincoln, Joel Lincoln, Jana (Ben) Gauthier, Phillip (Nikki) Cowan, Gregory (Breanna) Cowan, Stephen Cowan, Kelli Paulsen, Katelyn (Aaron) Ellenberg, Kyle (Hannah) Paulsen, Kurt (Allison) Paulsen, Jared (Tamara) Ruter, Taylor (Drew) Carroll and Clayton (fiancée, Shaye) Ruter; thirteen great-grandchildren, Harper, Rowan, Emmitt, Clay, Halle, Karson, Kennedy, Kynlie, Brody, Jace, Emma, Ella and Coe; and one brother, Dennis (Launa) Wolf of Walcott, Iowa.

Sandi was preceded in death by her parents.
