Funeral services for Tammy Sue Brentise, 49, of Davenport, will be 11 a.m. on Friday at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf. Burial will follow at Davenport Memorial Park Cemetery, Davenport. Family will greet friends on Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at McGinnis-Chambers Funeral Home, Bettendorf.
Tammy passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at MercyOne Medical Center, Davenport.
Tammy Sue Brentise was born on June 28, 1976, in Davenport, the daughter of Donald and Cindy (Carney) Brentise. She married Terry Pribble in Las Vegas on May 13, 1993; they were later divorced. She then met David Carstens and they have been together for the last 15 years. She worked for Expeditors International for 23 years, but she currently worked as Office Manager for Helzberg Jewelry.
She enjoyed being grandma "mimi," online shopping, gardening, being in her pool and going to the casino. Tammy found great joy in giving gifts to others.
Survivors include her sons, Cody (Richie Paz) Pribble of Omaha, Neb., Zachary Pribble of Davenport; her significant other, David Carstens; parents, Donald (Kris) Brentise Sr. of Davenport, Cindy (David Cain) Brentise of Davenport; grandchildren, Peyton and Atlas; sister, Lisa (Shane) Strunk of Buffalo; grandparents, Lee and Eloise Carney of Davenport; and nieces, Savanah of Rushville, Ill., Mia of Buffalo.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Todd Brentise; grandfather, Floyd Brentise; and grandmother, Particia Parker.
