Marie Heiss

MARIE A. HEISS Marie A. Heiss, 95, of Littlefork, Minnesota, died February 6, 2023, at the Littlefork Nursing Home. She was born on February 1, 1928, in Littlefork, where she was a lifelong resident. She was later united in marriage to Frederick "J.R." Heiss in 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Albrecht and Thomas Albrecht; husband, Frederick "J.R." Heiss; and grandson, Shawn Horne. Survivors include son, Robert (Vicki) Heiss of Rainy Lake; daughters, Marie "Sunny" (Dan) Scott of Wayzata, MN, and Bette (Brent) Horne of Littlefork; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Mother and grandmother Marie will be missed by all. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Columban Catholic Church in Littlefork on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held for one hour prior to the services at the church.
