So many lives were lost, so many innocent people. They are all by Gods side now, watching us people on earth hurting and loving each other.
You will no longer suffer as we do, nor as you did on 9/11, you wont be forgotten and your deaths were not meaningless, from little 2 year old Christine, to 85 year old Robert, I hope your lives were well lived cause Heaven is plain better in every way.
I hope we people down here meet you up there.

I decided that this year I wanted to commemorate the victims of 9-11 by getting to know them on a personal level. I went to the CNN Sept. 11 Memorial website and started to look at the countless names. I began to scroll and look at the pictures next to the name. Then I saw that 100 dollar smile and decided I wanted to know a little bit more about that man. His name is Andrew Abbot, and before I go any further I want to take this moment to give my condolences to the loved ones of Andrew Abate. May he rest in peace. Let me end this message by telling you what I learned about Andrew. Andrew was witty and apparently had a warm greeting that I can imagine could light up a dark room. He was also really good at playing racquetball and he cared about the people around him. He sounded like a great guy and I am glad I got to know him. My thoughts and prayers with the families, friends, and coworkers of Andrew and all those who lost their loved on Sept. 11.

May the LOVE of God continue to be with each one of the families who lost their loved ones, on this dreadful day.

May God keep his STRENGTHEN ANGELS encamped round about every person that sustained physical, mental and emotional injuries.

Lord lift them up
Keep them lifted above the waters
Lord KEEPING PEACE is what I ask.

And even for all of those my brothers and sisters First Responders, the entire Public Safety Community as we remembers on this 20th Anniversary. Lord dry our tears for we too are hurting.

Bless the children of those BRAVE men and women whose mother or father perished on that day, and those who has succumbed to health issues, and injuries that was caused from that day.

Be with us Lord, as this Nation continue to get thru this agonizing pain.

WE SHALL NEVER FORGET!

Unbelievable that 20 years have passed since that horrendous and heartbreaking day in September when so many lives were lost and others were destroyed. It is a day that I’ll remember for the rest of my life; where I was, how I felt. My sadness is just as deep and ongoing as it was in 2001. I hope the families and friends of those who lost their lives have found ways to cope with this tragedy. May the memory always stay alive

I will never forget that sad date, when I confirmed that what I was looking at the TV screen was not a movie but the cruel reality. My dear friend Ramonas daughter (puertorican) was in one of the towers. She was never found. I had a late shift ithat morning at my job where I always walked to. I don't remember how I crossed the streets, only that I felt like a walking dead. I think I hardly did anything that day except cry and pray. My soul still hearts for all the victims and their families.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
