Dona Marie Brakke

1956 - 2025

Dona Marie Brakke was welcomed into the arms of her heavenly father on Monday, November 24th, 2025, while surrounded by family. Dona was born on May 8th, 1956, in Billings, MT to Vernon and Lenora Brakke. She was welcomed by four older siblings, Vickie, Dennis, Arleen, and Terri and she later welcomed a little brother Curtis. She was blessed with six children: Shane Leuenberger, Shana (Philip) Keller, Ketra Brakke, Katrina Brakke, Angela (Scott) Macioroski, and Dawn Lanier. She became the proud grandmother to: Jade Brakke, Ethan (Shaylee) Neu, Ashton Neu, Taya Stephens, Talia Stephens, Jace Keller, and Cale Keller. She never missed an opportunity for an adventure or a good time making memories with her family. Dona was born to be a caregiver. After raising her children and granddaughter Jade, she went on to care for so many others. The majority of her career was spent working at various group homes and assisted living facilities where she touched so many lives. Her most recent passion was working at The Lodge in Sidney, MT where she worked until she was forced to retire due to her health. She will be missed by so many but remembered so deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Vickie, Dennis, Terri and Curtis and her deepest loss of all, her daughter Ketra. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 29th, 2025, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sidney, MT. Burial will be held at a later date. Dona Marie Brakke
