Mark Anderson Obituary

Mark Edward Anderson? May 25, 1964 - October 21, 2025

Mark Anderson, 61, passed away unexpectedly on October 21, 2025.

Born on May 25, 1964 in Rapid City, SD, Mark grew up traveling with his father and siblings, learning the roofing trade that would become his life's work. He went on to own and operate Mark Anderson Roofing, where his hard work, honesty and craftsmanship earned him the respect and loyalty of many.

Mark was known for his kind and generous spirit and for his deep love of his loyal German shepherd, Samson "Sam". He valued family and shared a special bond with his nephew and "right-hand man," Garrett Diesen, who worked alongside him for many years and his cousin Danny Bridge

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin "Andy" & Louella Anderson, his brother Steve Anderson, nephew Jorden Diesen & brother-in-law Duane Meidinger. He is survived by his siblings Linda Anderson, Cindy Anderson, Teri (Gary) Diesen, Matt (Mary) Anderson, Mary Anderson, and Levi Anderson, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held in Glendive, Montana, in May 2026 (exact date and time to be announced). Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Mark's life, his legacy of hard work and kindness, and his love for those around him.

His kindness, laughter and hardworking spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Mark Anderson

I was so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I liked Mark, and enjoyed working with him. He always did a great job on our roof when I was at United Insurance and Realty in Glasgow. Doug Allie
