Albert Coates Obituary
Survivors include his wife, Sandy, Cedar Rapids; mother, Jane Coates, Edgemont, S.D.; four children, LilaAnn Coates White, Duluth, Minn., Heather Marie Fallis, Moberly, Mo., James Alan Coates, Marion, and Richard Lee Coates, Orlando, Fla.; two brothers, Dr. J. Edwin Coates, Hot Springs, S.D., and Col. Donald Duane Coates, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and ten grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, May 23, at United Church in Edgemont, with the Rev. Peary Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
McColley's Chapels of the Hills in Edgemont is in charge of arrangements.
