Charlotte Conroy Obituary

WANBLEE - Charlotte Conroy, 63, Wanblee, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Rapid City. Survivors include four sons, George Conroy, Kadoka, Eli Conroy III, Foster Conroy and Frank Conroy, all of Wanblee; his daughter, Kim Conroy, Wanblee; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Carl Garnette, Alliance, Neb., and Melvin Young, Allen; and five sisters, Ramona Ashmore, Salt Lake City, Alice Camargo, Scottsbluff, Neb., Jackie Hernandez, Gordon, Neb., Phyllis Little Moon, Wounded Knee, and Elvira Mosqueda, Fort Morgan, Colo. A two-night will begin at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 15, at the T&T Center. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, at the T&T Center, with the Rev. Rick Abert, S.J. officiating. Traditional Lakota services will be provided by John May. Burial will be at Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis. Sioux Funeral Home of Pine Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
