I remember the first time I met Diane...I was a transfer to the Whitewood elementary school from Deadwood. She was shy and I was too. We became fast freinds. She was so good natured and always put up with me. We remained friends though not as close into adulthood. She was my first sister of choice. I was shocked to hear of her passing. I am though extremely pleased and honored to have been her friend.
