Lorene Hoffman
AUSTIN, TX - Lorene Hoffman, age 97, went home to the Lord January 5, 2024, in Austin TX.
She lived most of her life in Rapid City with now-deceased husbands: Virgil Martin and Charles Hoffman.
Lorene had two children: Lana Morris and Colin Martin; and became step-mother to: Don Hoffman and recently passed, Sandra DuCray.
Lorene was a true servant of our Lord through being Secretary of First Baptist Church and leading a twice weekly Bible Study at Pennington County Jail for 32 years.
Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 5, 2024 at Behrens Wilson Funeral Home, 632 St. Francis St. in Rapid City.

Please accept my condolences. I remember Lorene as such an elegant lady with a refined and calming influence on those around her. I would often see her and Chuck at First Bapitist services many many years ago.

I am greatly saddened to read of your mother´s passing. I am not sure you remember me from our growing up years in Rapid Valley but, I will never forget your mother´s warm hospitality.
