Olav Grove Obituary

BLACK HAWK - Olav Grove, 79, Black Hawk, SD, passed away Monday, March 24, 2003, at his residence in Black Hawk. He was born on February 26, 1924, to Nils and Ambjorg Grov in Grindeheim, Valdres. He is survived by his cousins, Edythe Rustad of Roseglen, ND, Jewell (Louis) Grove of Parshall, ND, Myrtes Gjefle of Seattle, WA, and Evelyn Anderson of Phoenix, AZ; several nieces and nephews, including Ambjorg og Vidar Akerholt and Hanne Jahren og Terje Kongslien from Norway; and a very good neighbor and friend, Kenneth Dietrich of Black Hawk, SD. He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 26, 2003, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 27, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home, with Reverend Bruce Baum officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery, Black Hawk, SD. Behrens-Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
