William Sisson Obituary

William (Bill) Allen Sisson

VICTOR - It is with profound sadness to share the passing of our beloved father William (Bill) Allen Sisson of Victor, MT, on July 20, 2024 at the age of 82. Bill passed away peacefully at Bitterroot Health in Hamilton, MT with family by his side during his transition to his forever paradise with Jesus. Bill was a one-of-a-kind father to his six children, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. He spent his final years helping his family, friends, and even strangers as much as possible and was happy to do so.

Bill was born on January 29, 1942, to Robert and Shirley Sisson in Napa, CA. He grew up in Napa and graduated from Napa High School in 1961. This is where he met his high school sweetheart, Donna Kime. Following his high school graduation, Bill and Donna married shortly after in 1961 and began their family. They went on to have six children from 1962-1973. Bill has worked his whole life driving. He has worked at B&L Tours, was a milkman with Berkley Farms and Stornetta's Dairy, drove for the Mayflower moving company, and fulfilled his dream of owning the Lunch Box Deli in Napa with Donna.

Bill has always followed Jesus and belonged to the Nazarene church in Napa. He has spent his retirement years reading and learning as much as he could about Jesus. He loved sending scriptures to his family especially if they pertained to our struggles. One of his favorite pastimes was listening to the King of Rock & Roll (Elvis Presley), and he would sit for hours and listen to Elvis with his kids.

Bill is survived by his six kids: Dina (Mark) Menager, Corey (Kris) Sisson, Leah Deering, Lana (Robert) Marquis, Heather Villarreal, and Erin (Jeff) Lantz. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.

Bill is preceded in death by his dad, Robert Allen Sisson, his mother, Shirley Mason Sisson Williams and his two Brothers: Dennis Sisson, and Carson Sisson. He was excited to be with his family again, especially his dad whom he lost at a young age.

If Bill had anything to tell everyone in this life it would be: "I did it my way" Elvis Presley the KING!!!", and to "SAVE YOUR MONEY!" Dad & grandpa of many, you will be greatly missed by all. We love you to the moon and back. Until we meet again!

We would like to say thank you the staff at Bitterroot Health and to Ron and Steve at Brothers Mortuary & Crematory for such great care and help to relieve some of the burdens that come with losing your loved one. Nothing less than exceptional care with our dad and us. Thank you for all you do!

Bill you are missed. I met Bill when he opened The Lunchbox with his wife. We became great friends quickly. As we talked I realized he has worked with my older cousin at Berkeley Farms.
I became acquainted with his mother and took her out for coffee frequently.

I will sure miss Bill coming into the barbershop. He sent me the sweetest letter and photos from his trip to see the replica of the ark. He was a very kind and sweet man.

I knew Bill in school, but our paths never crossed later. He was one of the best in the class of 61. Always friendly,
quiet, reserved, not a bad word of anyone.
My sympathies to his family.
It appears that he had a wonderful, faith filled life. Wish more of us could be as well.

Our 20 years together which provided the world with 6 wonderful kids was the beginning of the huge group of descendants, which are already making their marks on this world. While we went separate ways, your reunion 13 years ago with the family here in Montana, was a blessing for our 46 descendants. They will all remember you and your generosity and your caring will remain with them forever. Rest in heavenly peace and keep up the little signs that you are with each and everyone. They love getting signs that you are still with them!

I graduated from Napa high school with Bill. I knew him through Jr Hi and high school. He was always cheerful and thoughtful, a kind, warm guy. I can still clearly picture his wonderful smile and almost hear his cheerful greeting and then asking how I was doing and really meaning it. To his family my condolences for your loss of such a wonderful man. It saddens me though I have not seen him in so many years, but I am glad to know he has so much family to keep his memory alive and continue his legacy.
